Mrs Amna  Shibeika

Amna Joined the ICRC in April 2008 after finishing her masters degree in Construction Informatics at the University of Reading. Before that she worked as Architectural Assistant /Architect in several Architectural firms in Sudan and the UK for 7 years,

As part of Theme 4 within HaCIRIC in Reading, Amna’s role is to investigate briefing and design issues for healthcare projects, in particular the relationship between care delivery practices and the built environment, and how these delivery practices can be embedded into the spatial layout of the facilities.

Amna’s research interest focuses on investigating the building design process and the application of collaborative technologies to enhance integration and communication among design teams in order to achieve Integrated Design Chains that contribute to higher quality and better user satisfaction.
